The World Champion San Fransisco Giants (that phrase never gets old) have returned to defend their title.

From the day pitchers and catchers reported to spring training, the boys of summer have been trailed by a camera crew from the Showtime series The Franchise.  Last night The Franchise made it’s season debut at 10pm.  (New episodes air Wednesdays @ 10pm.) Admittedly, as a Giants, fan I am probably biased, but where else can you see the inter-workings of a major league baseball club,  a rookie cry when he makes the team and understand that baseball players are real people?
