Just announced, and tweeted by Werner himself – you buy an Amazon Cloud Drive and you can have access to unlimited storage for your music files.

Here’s how the whole things works, and what you are required to do:

  1. Purchase any Amazon Cloud Drive storage plan that is 20GB or larger
  2. Upload as many eligible MP3 and AAC files as you like – these files will NOT take away from your Cloud Drive storage space
  3. Save or upload your previous Amazon MP3 purchases to your Cloud Drive for free

You’ll be able to play your music on any PC, Mac, or Android device. You can also use the new Amazon Cloud Player on your iPad.

This is a limited time offer, but there is no date specified – so I suggest those interested jump on this and get your Cloud Drive going.

Remember, it has to be a minimum of 20GB to qualify for the unlimited music storage.

  1. Just an FYI: the unlimited music file upload is only for the first year. Amazon does not mention this until after you place your non-refundable order. After the end of the year, all uploads (other than Amazon.com MP3’s) would then count towards your total storage capacity. It also doesn’t specify what happens to all of those music files after the first year if you go over your storage limit.
