From the time they started dating, through their breakup, amidst speculations of their reconciliation, and finally their globally celebrated wedding, Prince William of Wales and the now Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine Middleton, have always captivated the spotlight.  Now, not unlike pop singers and rock stars, they are touring the world.  Their only scheduled public event in the U.S. is the upcoming Foundation Polo Challenge hosted by the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club.

Never has the sport of polo received this much attention.  Sponsored by the prestigious jewelers, Tiffany & Co with cuisine crafted by celebrity chef, Giada De Laurentiis, and headlined by the famous newly wedded royal couple, tickets to The Foundation Polo Challenge (occurring in about two weeks) is surely a hard-to-come-by commodity, even at $4,000 per ticket.

Hmmm, looks like you’d also get souvenir.  For $4,000, hope they at least included something sparkly from Tiffany’s and not just a long distance glance at the royals from across the hospitality tent.
