As hard as I have tried to fight it, I can’t deny the fact that I am a fan of Taylor Swift‘s music.  From the saccharine sweet Love Story to the sugary sweet Sparks Fly, her albums are permanently stationed in my iPod, while other songs rotate out for musical variety.

The biggest allure of her music is that all of her songs are inspired by her own love life.  So as soon as rumors of a new love interest surfaces about Swift, I eagerly await a song to appear on her next album that forever immortalizes the lucky (or unlucky) guy in pop music history.  It’s like peeking into someone’s diary.

So you can imagine my excitement when Taylor Swift and Tron: Legacy star, Garrett Hedlund was reported by US Magazine to have gone on a dinner date in Nashville, Tennessee on April 1.  Regardless whether Hedlund is celebrated in a song like Mine or condemned in one like Innocent, me along with millions of others will be investigating that on her next album.  Either way, Swift will no doubt gain another number 1 hit accompanied by multiplatinum album sales.

Now that is genius marketing!
