Adobe Gets Touchy with New iPad Apps 1Today, MacWorld released news on the new Photoshop Touch Software Development Kit (SDK).  Part of the Creative Suite 5.5 upgrade, the SDK will give developers the option to create mobile and tablet applications.

To illustrate the capabilities of its new toy, Adobe created Adobe Color Lava for Photoshop, Adobe Eazel for Photoshop, and Adobe Nav for Photoshop for the iPad.  These initial apps allow custom swatches, paint, and other Photoshop features literally at users' fingertips.

With Adobe Eazel, users can create paintings to be composited or further enhanced by Photoshop CS5.  Adobe Color Lava enables users to mix, match, and create their own color swatches and schemes to be imported into Photoshop, or shared with other users via email from the app.

In addition to the creative features of SDK, Adobe Nav offers more productivity functions.  Users can customize their Photoshop toolbar, browse and select open Photoshop files, and carry the files with them.

Are Adobe Color Lava, Adobe Eazel, and Adobe Nav worth their $5, $3, and $2 (respectively) price tag?  Will you purchase these apps when they come out in May?
