McDonald's is going to do their part to bring about some job market recovery.
On April 19th, they plan to hire 50,000 new jobs! Yes, all 50,000 on April 19th.
McDonald's said Monday its new “Mcjobs,” which will staff restaurants across the U.S., will include crew and management positions, part-time and full-time, bringing its total U.S. workforce to 700,000.
Jan Fields, president of McDonald's U.S.A., said the average pay for the new positions will be $8.30 per hour, higher than the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour. Restaurant managers could make as much as $50,000 per year, she added.
