This definitely seems to be the next wave of innovation for events and conferences; whereas everyone has their own white-labeled mobile device РI like it.

International CTIA WIRELESS will take place March 22 – 24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Pre-conference seminars begin March 21.

By texting the keyword “CTIA” to short code 21534, consumers will receive text, picture and video content on their mobile devices for CTIA’s next three events – International CTIA WIRELESS 2011 in Orlando, CTIA ENTERPRISE & APPLICATIONS 2011 in San Diego and International CTIA WIRELESS 2012 in New Orleans.

“Since mobile marketing is one of the fastest growing segments in our industry, CTIA is offering relevant mobile content to our customers and incorporating it our event marketing strategy and programs,” said Jeff Simmons, CTIA director of Technology Programs. “The mobile channel represents a huge opportunity for brands, businesses, media companies and the financial services sector to increase revenues and interact with their target markets.”

“Companies in the mobile industry are sometimes the last to leverage mobile themselves, but CTIA is leading the industry by using the power of mobile video marketing to engage and create a one-to-one relationship with its constituents,” said James Citron, Mogreet’s CEO. “We look forward to working with CTIA over the next year to build their mobile database, deliver exciting and relevant content to their customers, and demonstrate the value of mobile video marketing among CTIA’s member companies and leading organizations in the industry.”
