I’m frequently asked what I do for a living. Outside of my activities and experiences running the technology consulting group of HicksNewMedia, I spend my other waking hours helping companies understand and leverage Cloud Computing technology.

Recently I attended the Cloud Expo 2010 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Here many of the companies and top thinkers that are leading the charge for Cloud Computing adoption met and discussed opportunities, challenges, and strategy for this still relatively new technology mindset.

I spent some time with the Executive Editor of Strategic Initiatives of TMC, Erin Harrison and gave some thoughts I had on where The Cloud is today, where it’s going, and primarily, where a targeted hosting provider like StrataScale fits into this quickly growing landscape.
