Not too long ago, we here at HicksNewMedia and INFOtainment News wrote a post in collaboration with the Ad Council. The post was for their “Be an Ex” Campaign, helping folks end their addiction to nicotine and finding help and valuable resources to kick that habit once and for all.
We've been fortunate enough to be approached again to talk about another very significant effort, sponsored by the Ad Council – this one is for the Save the Children Good Goes Campaign.
Each year, almost 9 million children in the developing world die of largely preventable and treatable illnesses before they reach the age of five – that equates to approximately 24,000 child deaths a day.
However, every 4 seconds a child survives thanks to the basic health care provided by local health workers.
Save the Children and the Ad Council are working together to mobilize citizen action in the U.S. to help local health workers save more children worldwide. And we at HicksNewMedia and INFOtainment News want to help spread the word.
Check out the video below that speaks directly about the mission of the campaign.
There are numerous resources for you to see the good that is happening with this campaign worldwide.
