Apple today confirmed that they have dropped the restocking fee normally associated with returning an iPhone. Although unconfirmed, this likely only applies to the iPhone 4 and not the iPhone 3GS. Earlier today, Apple issued a press release outlining a forthcoming software release that will correct the signal display indicator. Customers who are not fully satisfied were “reminded” they could return the iPhone to an Apple Store for a full refund.

Full refund and no restocking fee. Anyone planning on returning their shiny new iPhone 4?
