With the eminent release of the Digg iPhone app coming later today (it's already in the UK iPhone App Store – see our story here), It brings the question to mind.
Which online service for aggregating popular interweb content is better: Reddit or Digg
Digg has the great master Kevin Rose behind it and has the DiggNation world behind it, but Reddit is pretty smooth and slick as well – I was recently at the Cloud Connect 2010 Conference in Santa Clara and attended a “behind the technology” discussion with the Reddit engineers and started liking what was being said.
The Digg iPhone app is going to be free while the Reddit app is all of 99 cents.
