It's been a while since I posted a flashmob story (too long actually).

Needless to say, the good people in Philadelphia have given us something to look at and enjoy.

Here is how this one started

Fueled by the phenomenon that is…Twitter, messages went out telling people to “come to South Street,”

Police say hundreds, while business owners say thousands – of young teens stampeded down South Street in waves, jumping on top of cars, knocking over pedestrians and fighting and cursing.

“It was like a tsunami wave,” said a store employee.

“The cops were overwhelmed,” said a store manager.

The South Street business owners called on the mayor to impose a curfew of 10 p.m. or earlier after frightened managers locked their doors, only allowing customers inside.

The entire event lasted from right at 9pm to right at 1am. Here is news video footage of the event.
