One of those things that has always made me curious and I never really took the time to inquire, until now…as I sit with a double Grey Goose in hand !!
Since the freezing point of alcohol is much lower than that for water you’re not going to get frozen vodka at 0C or 32F.
The freezing point of ethyl alcohol is -117.3oC, or -179,14F. Since vodka is only about 10% alcohol you wouldn’t have to go that low to make it freeze (since it’s a mixture of water and alcohol), but I’m pretty sure the average freezer would never get there anyway.
