WordCamp Boston is about to kick off Saturday, January 23rd with what looks to be a whole host of fantastic panels and discussions.

As should be expected, the event is already sold out, but according to the registration site, there are 2 remaining tickets that are on auction on eBay (with the proceeds going to the Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders for Haiti Relief). If you’d like to bid on those tickets head [here].

For those heading to the conference scheduled panelists include Chris Traganos, who moved the Harvard Gazette to WordPress and is now working to bring all of Harvard University to WordPress MU; Sean Brown, online manager of the WordPress powered MIT Sloan Review; and Bill Dennen, who is knee deep executing Wheaton College’s move from an aging CMS to WordPress MU. The discussion will be moderated by Scott Dasse, Creative Director for New Media at Boston University, who helped BU through a campus-wide deployment of WordPress MU last year.

The full program is listed [here].

I’ll be looking forward to hearing what Jeff Chandler has to say on his WordPress Weekly podcast when he returns from moderating one of the panel discussions (“Monetization in a Free World”)
