It won't be long before the Vancouver2010 Olympic Winter Games get underway and the stage is set for fans of winter games to book their tickets, which are now available to Canadian residents. Tickets are available for ice hockey, curling and victory ceremonies as well as thousands of seats to cheer for the Paralympic athletes.

Ticket prices posted on vancouver2010.com are in Canadian dollars and are available to Canadian residents. Outside of Canada, tickets are sold by National Olympic Committees (NOC) or the Official Ticket Agents representing that territory. Tickets sold outside of Canada may be sold for up to 20 per cent more with the funds going to the NOC and the Official Ticket Agent representing that country.

All Canadian residents, regardless of citizenship, are eligible to purchase tickets for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The requirement for Canadian citizens to buy tickets include a current and valid Canadian mailing address (P.O. boxes are not considered valid). Ticket buyers must be available to take delivery of tickets by signing with the courier.

Only one account for buying tickets can be created and residents, who participated for buying tickets earlier should use the same account. Only Visa cards can be used to buy tickets and no other cards can be used to make payment.

For ticket seekers outside Canada, the purchase should made only through the official ticket agent of National Olympic Committee. For example, US residents (including Canadian citizens living in the US) must purchase tickets to the 2010 Winter Games through CoSport, a sister company of Jet Set Sports, the authorized ticket sales agent of the US Olympic Committee (USOC).

People with disabilities will be provided help and services through VANOC, which has made all possible arrangements to make all the venues at 2010 Olympic and Paralymic Winter Games accessible.

If any one requires accessible seating, please contact Ticketing Call Centre at 1-800-TICKETS (1-800-842-5387). The TDD line is 604-629-7140.

Buyers should be aware that tickets bought from an unauthorized source may not be valid and may not be accepted for entry to 2010 Winter Games venues.
