No Pants Subway Ride 2010

The Ninth Annual No Pants Subway Ride is today in New York City and 42 other cities around the world.

According to the site improveverywhere.com, there are 15 countries involved this year including Japan, Argentina, and Sweden.

I love the requirements listed on their site:

  1. Willing to take pants off on subway
  2. Able to keep a straight face about it

With this event being in it’s ninth consecutive year, you can imagine that it’s huge and in my opinion, the ultimate flashmob !

I’d be interested to know if any of you are planning to participate this year.

For nostalgia sake, here is a video from last year’s No Pants Subway Ride

Update: It appears that the Ninth Annual No Pants Subway Ride went off rather smoothly, according to the coordinators at ImprovEverywhere. For the New York event they estimate about 3000 people braved the below 30 degree weather and rode…pantless on the subway.

Here’s this years video
