Practically everyone who has a Facebook account that logged on and looked at their wall today saw a strange recurrence. Many people were setting their status to colors. Then after further observation, if you paid even closer attention, you saw that it was all women. So, for me on the West Coast of California it is 11pm and I think if you didn't know by now, I'll explain the situation (especially for the guys).

In essence, it was an attempt at awareness to fight breast cancer and to promote early detection and self-examinations.

In my mind, an incredibly worthwhile cause. ANYTHING to get the conversation going about personal, preventative healthcare is a good thing.

Let's not stop with just this “color campaign” – men and women, educate yourself, examine yourself, talk to your loved ones, and help in anyway you can by supporting medical research.

Thanks To The Women Of Facebook 1
