Season Premiere of ‘V’ on ABC

Normally, I don’t get too interested in new science fiction flicks. I’m an old school sci-fi guy (Star Wars, Star Trek, the original BSG, stuff like that).

But this show ‘V’ that’s hitting the airwaves tonight on ABC really looks pretty interesting.

Per the ABC website…

“V” is a re-imagining of the 1980’s miniseries about the world’s first encounter with an alien race in which the aliens call themselves The Visitors, and have a seemingly friendly agenda that may or may not be a cover for something more malevolent. “V” stars Elizabeth Mitchell as Erica Evans, Morris Chestnut as Ryan Nichols, Joel Gretsch as Father Jack Landry, Lourdes Benedicto as Valerie Stevens, Logan Huffman as Tyler Evans, Laura Vandervoort as Lisa, with Morena Baccarin as Anna and Scott Wolf as Chad Decker. The series is produced by HDFilms in association with Warner Bros. Television. Scott Peters is executive producer/writer and Steve Pearlman and Jason Hall are executive producers. The pilot was directed and executive produced by Yves Simoneau. (ABC/DAVID GRAY) MORENA BACCARIN

Oh damn…Morris Chestnut – good to see the brotha getting some Hollywood work. Now I know my wife is going to watch this show as she has a slight crush on the man.

I’ve got the trusty DVR set to record the show, because I’ll probably be out of pocket when it airs here on the West Coast. Regardless, a major player in the technology blogging space that I follow, Cali Lewis is going to be liveblogging during the premiere. If you have time and are by your computer at at the time of the show, hook up with her online at this link here.

Side note: Cali…holla at your boy !! =)
