Senator Ted Kennedy Dead At 77

Whether you’re a Democrat, Republican, Interdependent, or whatever you have to stop and take note to the storied political and humanitarian career that was Senator Ted Kennedy.

The patriarch of the first family of Democratic politics died Wednesday at his home in Hyannisport, Massachusetts, after a lengthy battle with brain cancer.

“We’ve lost the irreplaceable center of our family and joyous light in our lives, but the inspiration of his faith, optimism and perseverance will live on in our hearts forever,” a family statement said. “We thank everyone who gave him care and support over this last year, and everyone who stood with him for so many years in his tireless march for progress toward justice.”

For the Kennedy family this is especially a mournful time as they are still grieving the loss of Eunice Kennedy Shriver, the sister of JFK, who passed away on August 11th.

Good night sir.

  1. More like a celebrity's death? I know it's kinda cold to say it, but what did Edward Kennedy really do, what did he really accomplish? Someone detail his tangible legacy to enlighten, please.
