What a great day for fans of the University of North Carolina.
Not only did their men's hoop squad win the NCAA championship, but one of their favorite sons, Michael Jordan got elected into the NBA Hall of Fame.
Jordan, along with David Robinson, John Stockton, Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan and Rutgers women's coach C. Vivian Stringer all received the distinguished honor.
