Michael Phelps on Tavis Smiley

6878 One of my absolute favorite talk shows is The Tavis Smiley Show. He’s been on PBS for 10 years, back in the day he was on BET doing news and commentary and has always been a profound voice in the field of debate and timely reporting of current events.

With that, Michael Phelps was recently on the show talking about being named Sportsman of the Year by Sports Illustrated and his new memoir, No Limits.

Phelps talks about his early life, why he got in the pool to begin with, how he trains, what’s his motivation, and what’s next. Click here to go check out the video or click the play button below to listen (it’s about 22 minutes)

As a side note, set your DVR to record The Tavis Smiley Show – you won’t be disappointed.
